Seed Coalition is collaborating with Urban Rural Action to host a virtual event for the National Days of Dialogue on MLK Day.
The National Days of Dialogue is a free opportunity for all Americans to participate in conversations that explore different perspectives and lived experiences, strengthen skills in navigating conflict, and build new relationships across differences. We will be using one of our Civic Agency Workshops as the framework for engaging in dialogue across differences. We hope that this will not only give people a chance to participate in dialogue with folks who may be different from them, but also highlight some tools we have available for dialogue work in the classroom and beyond. We invite civic engagement professionals, staff, faculty, and students to join us for this session.
The event will be held virtually on Monday, January 20, at 10 a.m. CST. You can register here. We welcome you to attend or share this information as part of the MLK Day opportunities on your campus. We hope this will be a chance for students to engage in practice on an important aspect of dialogue with others. This public event is open to anyone who registers.
We also invite you to check out and attend other NDOD events. You can register for a variety of virtual events held between January 5-18, 2025, on the Urban Rural Action website.
